Big Freight Life LLC, the developer of Low Ox Life, wants the app and this website to be usable by everyone. We build to Apple’s accessibility guidelines, test with Apple’s accessibility tools, and work to make the app easier to use over time.

What the app supports

  • VoiceOver: controls and list rows carry labels, press-and-hold actions are also offered as plain actions, messages such as “Saved” are read aloud, and an oxalate figure that is only a minimum is read as “at least”.
  • Text size: text follows the size you choose in iOS, up to the largest accessibility sizes. At large sizes, rows stack so a name and its figure each get a full line.
  • Contrast: text colours are checked against the contrast rules in light and dark mode. The oxalate level is always given in words and figures, never by colour alone.
  • Time: Undo lasts 30 seconds, other messages stay longer, and with VoiceOver or Switch Control on, a message stays until you dismiss it.
  • Reduce Motion, Light and Dark Mode: the app follows your iOS settings.
  • Haptics: you can set haptic feedback to Off, Minimal or Normal in Settings › Accessibility.
  • Touch targets: small links and controls have a 44-point touch area.
  • Standard iOS controls: the app is built mostly from standard controls, so Voice Control and Switch Control can operate them.
  • Apple Watch: the watch app and its complications have VoiceOver labels.

This website

lowoxlife.app is plain pages with headings and links and sets no cookies. It has a skip link, a visible keyboard focus, works at a 320-pixel width and in Dark Mode, and each section of the Terms and Privacy Policy starts with a plain-English summary.
